School History

Hope Lutheran Day School was a dream that became a reality on January 7, 1987. Many members of Hope Lutheran Church realized the importance of reaching out and helping to satisfy the need of the community by providing a loving, Christian environment for the care and education of preschool children. The Board of Education was approached in March of 1985 to study the feasibility of providing such a service. Subsequently in October of 1985, the Voters’ Assembly of Hope Lutheran Church made a commitment to support through financial and volunteer assistance the establishment of Hope Lutheran Day School.

Philosophy of School

Providing children a safe and nurturing environment where they are loved and respected is our first priority. We believe children have a greater capacity to learn when they feel safe and loved. We believe the best and first lesson children need to learn is to love school and learning. Hence, our school strives to create a well-balanced program that is both fun and stimulating and both child-directed and teacher-directed.
