Ms. Cynthia Huang
“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”
In addition to my love for children, the above Bible verse has been a cornerstone of my philosophy as an educator. I believe it is my responsibility as a teacher to encourage children to use their God given creativity to obtain knowledge and along the way teach them to make good choices in life. Education is more than the academics; it is the development of a whole child who is happy, secure, and loving.
I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Concordia University in Irvine and received my Teaching Credential from the State of California. I was a Kindergarten and Second Grade teacher before becoming preschool director. While working as a director, I went back to San Francisco State University to pursue a Graduate Degree in Early Childhood Education. I currently hold a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Director’s Permit from California Teacher Credentialing Office.
